Several years ago when there was no option, innovative racers would soften and or drill holes into the rubber of the bushing to get more movement for the rear suspension. It worked for a period of time as the bushing would continue to tear/split into pieces and then they would have to replace them altogether. To this day we still see guys on a "racing budget" spend $40-50 doing the same thing and spending hours working to soften or drill them out knowing that there is a chance they may go too far and have to replace them as soon as next week. Granted OEM Rubber is a softer material than the standard automotive grade polyurethane which causes a more rigid ride. Polyurethane has a longer shelf life and life expectancy than OEM Rubber . Our Bushings do vary in life expectancy as it is a racing product and we feel it is superior to any others on the market today. Most of the other poly control arm bushings on the market have one durometer they sell. That is why we offer so many choices to fine tune your chassis with our bushings. Our most common Lower control arm bushings are the "Flex Bushings", they provide more movement and allows the control arms to have a twisting or more flex which can allow more traction for your chassis. Our "Pull Bushings" are most commonly used in the Upper control arms as they mimic the characteristics of a Pull bar also allowing more movement. We also offer the "Dual Stage Bushings" which can be used on any control arm and it allows for more movement on the acceleration side (softer) and less movement on the deceleration side (harder). We offer a few different durometers and the softest being a 40d, this should be only used a super dry slick track typically ran out west in the Arizona,New Mexico area where there is some sandy dry slick conditions. Pretty much everyone says that they are driving on the slickest track around and we understand that however a good starting point is with our "Flex Bushings & Pull Bushings". We hope this sheds some light on what we have to offer the racing industry and your team.

Individual Bushings starting at $37.99 ea
